Servicenow: where is customer data stored and processed?
ServiceNow is a US company, and its service is aimed at businesses and organisations, not private consumers. Customer data is stored and processed in EU data centre pairs Amsterdam and Dublin, which the customer can choose, but it is not confirmed which country the storage is in. Regions outside the EU/EEA also exist and can be opted out of. Backup is written to disk in both centres in the pair and is assumed to stay in the EU for EU customers, but this is not confirmed. Support is provided from Amsterdam and San Diego (USA, transferred under SCCs), and from group companies in Poland, Spain, Sweden, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Norway, Switzerland, Israel and Canada. Login (SSO) and notifications (e-mail/SMS) have undisclosed location.
