Proton: where is customer data stored and processed?

Proton stores encrypted customer data on its own servers in Switzerland, Germany and Norway, and the customer group is not stated in the sources. The customer cannot choose region based on what is documented. Support requests are handled by ProtonLabs in North Macedonia and Taiwan, and by Zendesk in the USA with transfers under SCC and BCR. Atlassian stores support data in the EU and the UK, and payment data is processed by Stripe in the USA and PayPal in Singapore. The data processing agreement has been read, but does not state where data is stored. Not stated: backup location, identity provider location, email and SMS provider, and location for telemetry, analytics and error reporting.
