Vendor profile
Unimicro: where is customer data stored and processed?
Unimicro stores customer data in Azure datacentres in Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway and Sweden, and the data sheet lists these same countries for AI processing through Azure OpenAI, with no model training without written agreement. Customers cannot choose region from the information provided. Data is copied to Norway if the SQL environment is not located there. E-mail is sent via Mailjet in France and incoming e-mail via Mailgun in an unspecified EU country, while mobile notifications go through Firebase Cloud Messaging in Germany. Logging via MS App Center is listed as USA, but it is not confirmed whether personal data is included. The data processing agreement is not read because its PDF was not available, so the agreement does not state where data is stored.
