Telesign: where is customer data stored and processed?
Telesign stores customer data in data centres in the USA (California and Texas), Belgium and the Netherlands, and cloud hosting runs on AWS and Microsoft in several countries. Processing and staff resources are located in the UK, Serbia, Singapore, Colombia, China, Lithuania and the USA, and some of these are not confirmed. Identity login may be transferred to AWS data centres in India, the USA or Indonesia, but this is not confirmed. Support for customers outside the EU/EEA is provided from Brazil, Singapore, China, Serbia, Colombia and India, and messaging back-ends run in the UAE and India. The data processing agreement is read and states where data is stored, but it does not say whether customers can choose region, and backup location and AI functions are not stated.
