Odoo: where is customer data stored and processed?

Odoo stores and processes production data for customers in the Europe region in France and Belgium, with backups in France, the Netherlands and Sweden; the customer cannot choose the backup location, and new customers on Odoo 19.0+ get EU-only backup. Some older EU setups also get extra backup in Canada until the migration finishes (ETA Q4 2026). Customers can choose region, but regions outside the EU/EEA are optional. Login via itsme is processed on Odoo's IAP servers in Belgium and France. Document scanning (OCR) runs through Google Vision on EU territory. Session recordings (FullStory) go to the USA only with consent and only during trial periods, and this is marked as inactive. Support, notifications and payments have no stated location.
