Vendor profile
Mailgun: where is customer data stored and processed?
Mailgun is a service run by Sinch and mainly used by businesses, so the customer group is not primarily private individuals. Message content is stored and processed in Germany and Belgium for EU customers, with Google Cloud as the infrastructure provider. US customers have content stored and processed in the USA, and transfers are supported by DPF and SCC. Customers can select their region, and regions outside the EU/EEA are also available. Billing data goes to Stripe in Ireland and the USA. Support tickets go to Atlassian and Zendesk, both in the USA, and EU support is also handled in Europe, though the country is not stated. The data processing agreement is read, but it does not state where data is stored, so the location comes from other sources.
