HubSpot: where is customer data stored and processed?
HubSpot stores and runs customer data mainly in the USA and Germany (Frankfurt), with additional hosting regions in Canada and Australia for customers outside the EU/EEA. Customers can choose region, including an EU region in Frankfurt. Backup stays within the same hosting region. Usage and analytics data are transferred to the USA for processing. AI features are provided through OpenAI with processing in the EEA and Switzerland, and through Amazon Web Services in the USA. Support is delivered from several countries, including Ireland, the USA, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Colombia, Sweden, France and the United Kingdom. Identity login location, telemetry and location of group companies with access to customer data are not stated.
