EcoOnline: where is customer data stored and processed?
EcoOnline stores and runs customer data across several countries, mainly Ireland (AWS for Learning Manager and Crisis Management), Sweden (Cleura, AddPro), Germany (Azure for EHS) and the Netherlands (Azure Passport for authentication). Parts of the service, including Sprout Video and ANS Group, are documented for customers outside the EU/EEA in the United Kingdom and USA. Customers cannot choose region from the documents reviewed. Login is handled by Azure Passport in the Netherlands and by AWS/EcoID in Ireland, while support is delivered from Norway, Sweden, the United Kingdom, the USA, Canada and New Zealand. Notifications run through providers in Norway, Ireland, the United Kingdom and the USA, and telemetry through Sentry (USA) and Datadog (Ireland and EEA).
