Datasite: where is customer data stored and processed?
Datasite stores customer content mainly in Microsoft Azure data centres in Germany, Australia and the USA, and in Canada on request. Customers outside the EU/EEA are placed in Australia, the USA or Canada, while EMEA and APAC projects use Germany. Backup and disaster recovery regions are stated for each storage location, but the documentation says only that they apply to backup and does not confirm it. Support is provided from the USA, UK, France, Germany, Australia, Singapore, Japan, Costa Rica and India, with India through an external subcontractor. Document processing and some metadata work happen in Costa Rica.
