claude: where is customer data stored and processed?
Claude's customer content is stored and processed in the USA, and for customers outside the EU/EEA also in Palantir's FedRAMP cloud for Claude for Government. Regional endpoints in Europe (country not stated) are available via AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex and Microsoft Foundry, chosen by the customer, and the customer can choose region. Login runs through WorkOS in the USA and identity checks through Yoti in the UK for Free, Pro and Max users. Support is handled by Intercom (USA), Nutun (South Africa) and Boldr (Canada), notifications and analytics by Twilio (USA), and error handling by Sentry (USA). Billing uses Stripe (USA), and text-to-speech for Claude for Work uses ElevenLabs (USA).
