BambooHR: where is customer data stored and processed?
BambooHR stores and runs customer data in data centres that the customer chooses between, including Ireland, other unspecified European locations (AWS), the USA and Canada. The USA and Canada options are stated only for customers outside the EU/EEA. Login via Auth0, SMS codes via Twilio and Vonage, and Pusher notifications are documented in the USA. Support is delivered from Draper, Utah, but the location of support staff is not stated. Several AI language model providers (Anthropic, Cohere, OpenAI, LlamaIndex) and analytics and logging tools (Adobe Analytics, Pendo, Tableau, Datadog, Rollbar) are located in the USA. The data processing agreement was read, but it does not state where data is stored, so storage location comes from other sources.
