Atlassian Jira Software: where is customer data stored and processed?
Atlassian stores Jira Software customer content in AWS data centres in Sweden, Ireland and Germany for EU/EEA customers, with Switzerland, the UK, Canada, Australia, Singapore, South Korea and the USA available to customers outside the EU/EEA. Customers can choose region, and the processing locations follow the same pattern. Backup is done with Clumio for S3 data, with locations in the EEA and several non-EU countries, but the country for some EEA backups is not stated. Notifications are sent via Mailgun from the USA and the EEA, but this is not confirmed. Support is provided from Brazil, Mexico, Bulgaria, Poland and the USA, and Romania is not confirmed.
